The new IAC Signal Fixture has a signal system which is generating a GO signal if the workpiece is mating with the fixture completely free from stresses.
The fixture is activating an electronic or optical GO signal in the case the workpiece is completely free from mechanical contact with each of the checking elements of the fixture as the U/blocks or the check pins.
The workpiece is only GO in case there are no external forces and thus no extra deformations while it mates with the fixture.

The IAC Signal Fixture is activating a NO/GO signal if there is any contact between the workpiece and one or more checking elements of the fixture.
This means the workpiece is out of tolerance and it has to be deflected by external forces in order to fit into the fixture.
The disadvantage of the conventional check fixtures is that the operator is able to make GO of a NO/GO workpiece by forcing it into the fixture.
After taking the workpiece out of the fixture the forces are coming free and the geometry is again out of tolerance.
Such a workpiece will urge problems in the assembly departement.
The IAC Signal Fixture is preventing this unwanted situation.

•GO is only GO in case the workpiece is mating free from deformations in the fixture.
•The forcing of faulty workpieces into the fixture is impossible.
•For each checking element there is a signal lamp on the panel of the detection unit. Finding the out of tolerance deviations and analyzing the situation is fast and straightforward.
•For the total attributive test of all tob e checked dimensions there two operator knobs which should be pressed simultaneously by the operator. By this way it preventing the operator to force the workpiece into the fixture during the test..
•As an option the product can be GO marked automatically after successful passing the test.
•Great is the new possibility to transmit by wifi or LAN all the test results to a network computer for data acquisition and data analysis
